In this video, Zack and Krystal introduce a new addition to their family: a 2008 Stewart and Stevenson M1087 vehicle they planned to convert into a second tiny house on wheels for a “His and Hers.”
The vehicle, initially an empty green box, features a 208-volt panel, a 48,000 BTU air conditioner, and a diesel furnace.
A 208-volt (208V) panel, often called a 120/208V 3-phase wye panel, is an electrical distribution board commonly found in commercial, industrial, and large residential buildings. It provides 208V between any two hot legs (for 3-phase or 1-phase heavy equipment) and 120V from any leg to neutral (for lighting/outlets)
A 48,000 BTU (4-ton) air conditioner is designed to cool large spaces, typically ranging from 1,800 to 2,800 square feet. It is ideal for residential homes with 3 to 5 zones or open-concept layouts requiring significant cooling capacity.
Zack and Krystal discussed the condition of the floor, which has paint damage due to stored batteries, but plan to repaint it.
Krystal notes the vehicle's spaciousness, with approximately 214 square feet.
They had planned to document the conversion process, but had an even better idea for Bantha!
